Grandhotel Galya

The project focused on the transformation and modernisation of the locally protected Grand Hotel Galya, which had fallen into poor condition over time, as well as the removal of low-quality and architecturally questionable extensions added over previous decades. The new programme retained the hotel’s original 126 rooms; however, rooms with inadequate parameters were reconfigured within a new extension on the main entrance side of the building. In addition, the existing wellness facilities were completely rebuilt and renewed, complemented by a new outdoor infinity pool offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape and panorama. Both the newly constructed and refurbished parts of the building were unified through a consistent architectural language, resulting in a coherent and harmonious overall appearance.
